November G.I.F.T. Program
On November 18 at 7:30 pm. G.I.F.T. presents Women of the Old Testament, a performance and discussion that will seek out our Catholic heritage and its roots in Judaism by investigating the Old Testament. The presenters are Ann Lewis, Professor at DeSales University and a St. Stanislaus cantor, Betsy Rentz, a member and performer in Theatre Ariel (a group of Jewish women who wish to build bridges to other people by celebrating what we share and exploring our differences) and Susan Moses, a professional actress who volunteers her time with Theatre Ariel. There is no charge for this evening, but a free-will offering will be accepted. Light refreshments will follow. Bring a friend.
Pints For Panes
Saturday, November 21, 8 pm to midnight
Join us for an evening of fun & foam, food and raffles. This special Beef & Beer Event will benefit the replacement of school windows (circa 1949). Tickets are $30 per person, or $25 per person if you book a table of 10, paid in advance. Includes buffet, beer and dancing. Tickets are available after Mass on October 25, or at the school office.
Saint Stanislaus Playgroup
The St. Stanislaus Playgroup is getting ready for another fun filled year. Playgroup will meet on occasional Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 am. We are looking for someone to co-coordinate this year's playgroup.
