Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 10:00 a.m. Mass every Sunday. At this Mass, the Celebrant will ask all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade who wish to hear the week’s Readings and an age-appropriate homily to accompany a Children’s Homilist. The Homilist, escorts and children will leave the Church and move to the Parish Center for this special program. The children will be brought back to Church after the priest’s homily and rejoin the congregation at the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Children’s Liturgy of the Word offers the children a deeper appreciation for the Mass and God’s Word. For further information about this program, or to become a Homilist or Escort, please contact Mrs. Mary Jo Vondercrone in the Religious Education Office, 215-855-9893.
