The mission of Saint Stanislaus Parish School community is to help children realize that they have been chosen by God to be holy and to encourage them to respond freely and completely to God's call throughout life. In the spirit of Stewardship, we join with families in the development of their children to communicate the teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith through prayer, generosity, action, and service. All are welcome to join our school family on Friday, October 30 in the Church for a special All Saints Day Prayer Service, beginning at 2 pm with a parade of our very own first graders dressed as their patron saints.
Blessing of Confirmation Candidates
On Sunday, November 1, at the 8:30 am Mass, there will be a Blessing of the Confirmation Candidates. All children receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation this year will sit with their families at the Mass, which will be followed by a reception in the Parish Center.
Trek for Tech
Be sure to check out the flyer in the October 25 Sunday Bulletin for information about the school’s annual Trek for Tech, scheduled this year for November 6. The students will walk/jog around Lansdale Catholic’s track for one hour, in an effort to raise money to enhance our school’s technology program. To date, over $25,000 has been raised, resulting in the installation of Internet access and projectors in every classroom, a fully equipped computer lab, and interactive SMART boards for nine classrooms. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to purchase a SMART board for each of the remaining classrooms.
Please consider making a donation. The students are very excited about participating in this event, and thank you for your support and prayers.
